Petition has started gaining lots of support, but now just  steady rather than going viral. Please take time to read and understand the background and research. Thank you😀

Seth, my 7 year old son (nearly 8), died after being hit by a car in December 2014 and he may have lived if the driver had not been chatting on the phone. We do know she would have been distracted, thus her reaction time slowed and the coroner found this contributed to his death. It is Important to acknowledge that the driver could have been any one of many of us who have been told in the past hands free is okay, she was not speeding. It was a terrible accident.

This issue has been in the media again with the latest research and so I have also contributed in interviews. The programme I made with Inside Out East will hopefully be aired soon (unfortunately they cancelled at the last minute for an article on an artist 🙁). Please if you support this sign & keep sharing to help me to change the law in recognition of the latest research regarding the use of mobile phones hands free whilst driving. I believe we need to change the law to ban all mobile phone calls. It needs to be shown that it is as unacceptable as drink driving. Lives are too precious, Seth was too precious, saving life needs to be put before a phone call. Below is my petition which needs 10,000 to get a reply from the government & 100,000 to be debated. I have made it public on my page so it can be copied and shared. It can also be shared by e-mail & online elsewhere, PLEASE especially pass on to any groups who will share.

If you can read the detail of the petition, please do. Unfortunately the radio link that was attached to petition, doesn't work anymore, but here is a link from an interview on BBC Cambridgeshire this morning if you listen from about an hour 6 minutes in.
